FontPeople are the world’s first full service independent type foundry.
FontPeople seek to take the fuss and confusion out of licensing fonts as well as making sure that type designers get the best deal possible. In addition to this they also offer a custom typeface service delivering fonts for Louis Vuitton, Barclays and Marks & Spencer to name a few. They will even help with non-latin font consultation to make your brand’s type consistent whether in latin, Arabic or Cyrillic – crucial if you’re a global brand.
They wanted a design led website which would appeal to both graphic and type designers so we opted for a bold style with a restricted colour palette. Subtle animations seek to compliment the larger-than-life aesthetic with daring interactions and prominent calls to action. We even created a light/dark UI slider to show off the contrast of the letterforms!
A blog known as FontCentre is to follow shortly where the founder will be interviewing type designers, discussing new releases and latest trends in the typography industry. The striking look and feel of the main site was brought across to the blog to maintain strong brand continuity at every touch point of FontPeople.
